На Київщині провели роботу по інформуванню населення про НАТО
Упродовж двох днів – 8 й 9 грудня – в місті Біла Церква
було проведено низку заходів, організованих Інститутом Європейського
Поступу за сприяння посольств Данії та Словаччини в Україні.
Їхньою основною метою стало підвищення рівня
інформованості українського населення на регіональному й
загальнодержавному рівнях щодо діяльності НАТО та перспектив інтеграції
до Північноатлантичного альянсу України.
Зокрема, 8 грудня відбулися прес-брифінг, зустрічі представників країн
НАТО з владою міста, лекції в білоцерківських вищих навчальних
закладах, міжнародний «круглий стіл» «Перспективи євроатлантичної
інтеграції України сьогодні». У середу, 9 грудня, було організовано
дебати «Україна-НАТО» й телеміст «Біла Церква – Брюссель –
штаб-квартира НАТО».
До участі у вищеперерахованих подіях долучилися представники посольств
країн-членів Євроатлантичного альянсу в Україні, Генерального штабу
Збройних Сил України, Кабінету Міністрів, а також різних політичних
партій та громадських організацій.
Як заявив президент Інституту Європейського Поступу Едуард Ільїн,
дводенний захід у Білій Церкві є лиш частиною кропіткої роботи з
регіонами. «Головне завдання, яке ставить перед собою ІЄП – це
проведення інформаційних та навчальних кампаній з питань
євроатлантичної інтеграції. У цьому контексті відбуваються тренінги для
ЗМІ, депутатів місцевих рад та державних службовців», – додав пан
Ільїн.
Співорганізатор заходів, директор Південноукраїнського центру розвитку
громадянського суспільства Михайло Колібабчук сказав, що для
ефективного результату «необхідно частіше проводити подібні заходи».
Щоправда, за його словами, така діяльність вимагає матеріальних
ресурсів. «Кошти на це громадські організації отримують за рахунок
грантів, допомоги іноземних посольств, та хотілося б мати постійну
допомогу від держави», – підкреслив пан Михайло.
Нагадаємо, що подібні інформаційні кампанії в регіонах відбувалися й
раніше. Нинішній білоцерківський є дванадцятою подібною подією за
